Please be aware that I do not offer Medicare rebates or DVA funding for my courses and classes. However I do offer concession rates. You are welcome to email me about this.

This Hatha yoga class is designed to promote mental health and well-being. Participants will have an opportunity to practice mindful movement and breathing, restorative shapes, mindfulness and meditation practices, and making choices and feelings empowered in their bodies. It is a trauma-informed class guided by psychological theory, neuroscience, and yogic philosophy.

This 5 - week course is designed to be helpful for complex trauma and posttraumatic stress. It may also be useful for anxiety, low mood, distress. It is guided by the TCTSY principles. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about and experience grounding strategies, making choices, interoception, breathing awareness & present moment awareness. As well as autonomic and emotional regulation.

This course is designed to be helpful for anxiety, low mood, emotional distress and stress; it may also be helpful for trauma. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about and experience mindful breathing practices, mindfulness & meditation, shapes that support autonomic and emotional regulation, gratitude, self-compassion, and acceptance. This is a trauma-informed course.

This NEW yoga therapy course is designed for individuals who are preparing to become (or are already) parents. It focuses on supporting perinatal mental health and building secure attachment with your baby. This is a trauma-informed course.

  • TCTSY (theory, method & research)

  • Differences between yoga, trauma-informed yoga and Yoga for Trauma Recovery/TCTSY

  • Applied polyvagal theory in yoga

  • TCTSY and trauma-informed yoga techniques in clinical practice

  • How yoga / yoga techniques can be helpful for anxiety, low mood, autonomic regulation


In this session you will have an opportunity to participate in TCTSY and other therapeutic yoga practices.

The session is held at Yoga Moves in Shenton Park.

You may find this session useful if you are referring clients to yoga therapy, would like to learn more about using these techniques in your clinical practice and / or are considering yoga or yoga therapy training.
