Hi, I'm Jess. I am a clinical psychologist, registered yoga teacher and Trauma Centre Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSYF).
At Zosia Yoga, my intention is to offer a yoga service that promotes mental health and well-being. A safe, collaborative and empowering space to practice yoga and engage in yoga therapy. In creating my classes and courses I draw on my experience as a clinical psychologist, registered yoga teacher and certified TCTSY Facilitator. I am passionate about the benefits of combining top-down (mindful attention) and bottom up (via movement and breath) yoga practices and therapeutic interventions to promote regulation and resilience, mental health and well-being.
As a clinical psychologist, I work in private practice. Areas of experience and special interest are perinatal mental health, women's health, well-being of health professionals and trauma.
